Blue & Yellow™ color
is the color combination that Tucker Industries
Inc. has trademarked for protective apparel.
This assures that, when you see Blue & Yellow™ protective
apparel, you can be sure that you are buying
authentic BurnGuard™ effective protective
apparel.
BurnGuard® Effective
Protective Apparel, a registered federal
trademark, is the name under which we market
all products which are equipped with Tucker's
VaporGuard™ effective liquid
and vapor barrier.
GussetGuard™ Protector is the name
of the Kevlar® gusset
insert we place between the thumb and index finger
on all our Conventional-style Oven Mitts. Experience
shows that this crotch area receives the harshest treatment
during the life of the mitt, and the GussetGuard™ protectors
are specifically designed to increase the longevity
of our Conventional-style mitts.
KutGlove™ Cut
Resistant Gloves are wirefree gloves that have
been designed using the latest technology to
create the lightest weight, most dexterous glove,
with the maximum cut resistance available.
SafeStep™ Program is
the name of the Safety Training and Burn Injury Prevention
program developed by Tucker Safety Products and offered
to clients as a front-line defense against burn injury. Under
this program, Tucker representatives visit the client
site and analyze burn injury history, facility layout, traffic
patterns and "hot spots" as well as equipment
in use and protective apparel in use. The team then
formulates recommendations concerning facility design,
equipment in use and protective apparel in use in order to
minimize the risk of future burn injury. The team also instructs
managers and staff in burn injury dangers and safety practices.
Tucker Safety Products continues to monitor injuries on an
ongoing basis, and makes further recommendations as necessary.
SiliGlove™ This
product was developed and designed for commercial
kitchen applications where the wearer will be
exposed to wet and messy conditions at a temperature
range between 225F to 500F. It offers safe and
sanitary protection while also providing sufficient
dexterity to easily perform the task at hand
(i.e. rotisserie).
SteamGlove™ is
hand protection designed and developed for the
commercial kitchen to provide safe and sanitary
protection to employees who are working around
wet and messy applications, where the heat is
not exceeding 225°F.
VaporGuard® barrier
is the trade name for our proprietary effective
liquid and vapor barrier. This material prevents
hot liquids (boiling water, hot oil, hot grease)
from reaching the skin of the wearer. It will
not burn, melt, crack, turn brittle or otherwise
break down when exposed to 500º F. temperatures
for extended periods of time.
